Porn Stars…hmmm I Wonder

Porn Stars…….hmmm I wonder

Why I am thinking about porn stars I have no idea, but as thoughts of porn stars crossed my mind, I began to wonder who actually ups and decides to become a porn star? I am pretty sure that no one dreams of being one growing up, so how actually does the thought of wanting to be a porn star develop? I would hate to even think that it has been someone’s life ambition to be a porn star, even with idea of being paid to have sex, I don’t think anyone has this on their list of Life Goals.

I just wonder, if maybe the majority of porn stars have ever been female or male prostitutes before they chose the high road to porn. Even though in my opinion there is only a glimmer of line dividing porn stars from prostitutes, I just wonder if a person in the porn star profession may have sold themselves cheap in the past.

hmmmm, Just me wondering about porn stars for no reason in particular.

  1. Interesting thoughts… Porn isn’t as glamorous as it ma seems. I was at Adultcon 2010 in LA last weekend… I met a lot of the girls who are pretty starry-eyed going into the industry when they get started… after a month or two and several STD’s later… I guarantee that the money that is being made in the industry isn’t being spent on 401K’s… How would you numb the pain of being gang-banged by 5 or 6 guys who are all performing for the camera?

There are thousands of porn start… thousands… and there is only one Jenna….

The sad thing about that is that Jenna just lost another pregnancy a couple weeks ago…

What do you think a person’s life is like before they arrive at the point where they put themselves in a situation like a porn set?

  2. Guys get involved with porno because they’re getting paid to do what they would have done anyway. I mean, what if someone paid you to get on the bus to go to work every day? What if you got to the gas station during your morning drive, and someone paid you to gas up. Same thing. Guys want to “have sex” (clean version), so why not get paid for it?

As far as the women, women like attention and women like money. You’ll get lots of attention as a porno star, and you’ll make lots of money… for a couple of years, until the ‘actresses’ are retired in favor of newer models… so save your cash.

Also, unless you get down with some weirdo company, being a porno star gives you a certain “quality control” when it comes to the women’s looks. 😀

I would like for You to Help ME to becume a “Porn STAR!”

  3. Keith…you counted..lol!

  4. You actually used the term “porn star(s)” nine times in a two paragraph post. I ain’t mad at that! On a more somber note, I think that most porn stars come from backgrounds of sexual abuse and porn is a way of taking back control over sex. So in a lot of ways the choice was unconscious.

  5. To each his own but for a while there around 15 yrs. old it seemed like a glamorous career choice LOL!

    Cheers

  6. BlogMad hit!

I think it depends on the type of prostitution. You know, common streetwalker vs. high priced call girl…

Hi there! Just happened on your site from blogmad. If you are interested you should check out the 1999 Documentary The Girl Next Door which follows the ‘actor’ Stacy Valentine and how she got into the industry.
