Skinheads Plot to Kill Barack Obama & African Americans

When all else fails, and defeat creeps nearer plot to murder innocent African Americans, after all everything is their fault anyway!

I guess a plot to kill Barack Obama by the skinheads should be no surprise to me or anyone else. But regardless of the fact that it was to be expected, that makes it no less despicable and ignorant.

———————————–

Federal prosecutors have charged two men; Daniel Cowart and Paul Schlesselman with a plot to assassinate Barack Obama along with a killing spree that would involve murdering over 100 innocent African Americans. Both Schlesselman and Cowart are self-described white supremacists (aka dumbasses with less sense than God gave a rock) the plot included robbing a federally licensed gun dealer, beheading 14 African Americans and shooting countless others. The plot was to end with an assassination of presidential candidate Barack Obama, all to be done while Daniel Cowart and Paul Schlesselman wore white tuxedos and top hats.

-Between the two I wonder who came up with the brilliant idea of the tuxedos and top hats…that was pure brilliance wasn’t it?  ||gag||

———————————–

It is undoubtedly sad that in the year 2008 white supremacists still exist. It is heartbreaking and unexplainable why centuries after (physical) slavery ended for African Americans the struggle to be seen as equal is still an everyday fight. Decades after Martin Luther King Jr. proclaimed that he had a dream, for African Americans the fulfillment of his dream has yet to come to fruition.  Our struggle continues because the foot of the oppressor has not been lifted and the tiny bit of equality we have seen is only a glimpse of what we deserve.

Barack Obama being nominated as the Democratic presidential candidate put hope in the hearts of many people who have prayed for change and hoped for a chance to be treated fairly and represented by someone who cared for all people, not just the ones whose skin mirrored theirs. It brought a feeling of hope and promise to their beings because now the glimmer of hope they had, which had almost tapered out, has now be rejuvenated. With the change he promises they see hope when all seemed hopeless and with that hope, they turned out in record numbers to vote. People who had never voted before in their lives, registered to vote, went out to the poll and cast their votes for the change they believed in, and that change was Barack Obama.

Obama’s nomination alone was enough to rile up the racist imbeciles who live with the belief that white people are superior to black people and with years of study and practice, this belief has become fact to them. The mere thought of a non-white person being nominated and having a more than decent chance at becoming the President of the United States is a horrific event for them. For them, the notion that African Americans may be soon celebrating what in their eyes is a “black victory” is enough to set their racist souls ablaze. It is enough to get them in action and plot an assassination.

For those of us who have no doubt that racism is still very much alive and kicking because we have seen, felt and/or experienced it; we expected something like this to happen.  We feared for Barack Obama as if we knew him personally, we prayed for him and hoped that he and his family would be strong enough to endure what was to come.  Sadly we expect even more racist acts to be plotted before Election Day and unfortunately we expect Barack Obama’s life to be threatened countless times if he is elected President of the Untied States of America. Our deepest hope and prayer is that none of these attempts are successful.

I refuse to accept the view that mankind is so tragically bound to the starless midnight of racism and war that the bright daybreak of peace and brotherhood can never become a reality… I believe that unarmed truth and unconditional love will have the final word.

A good many observers have remarked that if equality could come at once the Negro would not be ready for it. I submit that the white American is even more unprepared.

See, This is the kinda stuff I was talking about in that blog I did about Obama’s Well being. It’s a damn shame.

  1. Now you know those clowns wasnt gonna run up in memphis with that bullshit, right?

  2. what gets on my nerves is that i post to racist and arryan blogs all the time and when i ask other brothers to stand for whats right they dont, but can fuss when a person miss a spot on there car when being washed or want to fight another for calling them out their name – smh guess folks thank we free

  3. My mom told me about this non sense…..PURE IGNORANCE

  4. Powerful post and powerful quotes.

    Very well said.

I’ve made my own personal journey to realize that a lot of indirect racism still exists, and I think the more people come to accept that racism will always be around, and to teach tolerance and understanding would do wonders for future generations.

One of the best qualities of this campaign was Barack’s appeal to younger children. If there is someone that even some bigoted/racist can’t lie to (well, except for that extreme minority… idiots), it would have to be their children.

Children will always be more understanding than their parents, and with any luck can help their parents’ understanding as well.

  5. I am glad to see you tackle the issue of racism head-on, I have done so at my blog as well, with some f my whie friends on other blogs cautioning me “not to go there”.

I am a white male and if I don’t confront my white friends about racism, who will? If I don’t cross the “color line” and engage my Black Brothers and Sisters on racism, who will?

I am happy to see that I am not alone. I am blogrolling you now.

    Great post.
